Syrus Marcus Ware’s participatory performance, Activist Love Letters, encourages us to think about our role in sustaining a movement and supporting communities. Learn about activists working in your communities, write your own letter to an individual who has made an impact in the way that you experience life, think about the future, and strive to make change. We will mail it for you.❤️❤️❤️
*The evening session features commissioned spoken word poetry by some of Toronto’s up and coming: Zeinab Aidid, Nasim Asgari, and Kareem Bennett.
And! Jega Delisca will discuss the Carefree Black Boy Project and its commitment to inspiring and supporting Black men to engage in self-exploration that challenges and breaks the confines of stereotypical constructions of Black masculinity.
